The Group PhotoWith the ultimate goal of supporting the ministry to be self-sustaining through profit generating production activities, Le Moulin started off the operation with a more organised business system and management structure and aims to apply for the Malaysia HALAL and HACCP certification eventually. The profound experience and expertise knowledge of Rainbows would be an added advantage for Life2Life to upscale the previous L2L bakery capacity and market. In their daily operation, Le Moulin wishes to create more income generating opportunities to the marginalised refugees and other irregular immigrant communities. But most importantly, we aim at the human development as well. We wish to see the community acquiring not only skills enhancement, but a more holistic development in terms of their personality, social and communication skills, so that every worker can be a better person while they are with us. Besides, Le Moulin also hopes to discover new talents especially in baking skills and relevant know-how so that we can continue to create new products to meet the market evolving demand.
Healthy cookiesThe two new business partners who have joined us in Le Moulin once shared their thoughts that “it’s always our vision to be part of a social enterprise ministry so that the businesses that we are running can be a blessing to support the marginalised communities in our neighbourhood”. We pray that with this commitment and dedication, the new journey for our bakery will flourish in time to come!
