Berkeley Community Wellness Centre

After two years of waiting and planning, we have finally turned a three-floor building into a physical space for gathering of communities from different diaspora communities and locals – Berkeley Community Wellness Centre (BCWC).

BCWC is a physical space to promote wellness from the approach of holistic personhood, holistic community and holistic ecosystem. It will be a courageous and safe space for health and growth with counselling and coaching services and a community gym area. BCWC will also be a community-inclusive space for community gatherings and events at the event space, play area and a community kitchen. We envisioned it to be a space of opportunities for training, networking and experimenting with new skills, new contacts and new ideas. Ultimately, to journey with individuals and families for them to flourish, for communities to interact and support each other, and a friendly ecosystem for the diaspora communities in an unfriendly environment and broken system.
