The Craft Shop brand has various designs of tote bags, pouches, purses and household items. Every item is specially handcrafted by a Hazara refugee in Malaysia with skill and dignity.

The Craft Shop is a brand for the fabric fashion bags and household items made by the Hazara Community in the Ampang area. The Hazaras have become a large diaspora from Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan due to the unstable political and economic situation, and the ongoing ethnic persecution in their homeland.

The Hazara community in Ampang has professional tailors with fine tailoring skills.

The Life2Life Ampang Sewing Centre, a social enterprise of El-Shaddai Berhad, provides the refugee asylum seekers an opportunity to eke a livelihood with their skills.

The Centre sews for retail designers, corporate and education organisations and even walk-in customers.

Our retail products are sold online via Shopee (from Aug 2020), bazaars and at NGO events.

Natural moisturising soaps handcrafted by Rohingya refugees, with skill and dignity, offering them a chance to earn an income to support their families.

The marginalized Rohingya people are one of the most persecuted minority fleeing from Rakhine, Myanmar. Many live in overcrowded housing with lack of access to educational opportunities, employment and healthcare.

Tensions between Rohingya and Buddhist Arakanese in the Rakhine State have led to large-scale attacks on Rohingya. It has now escalated into a humanitarian crisis with hundreds of thousands of mostly Rohingya Muslims driven from their homes.
