This year, the Healthcare team significantly strengthened our home visit program, witnessing a profound impact on the families we’ve had the privilege to visit. These visits have provided us with an invaluable opportunity to connect more deeply with families and communities, fostering and reinforcing bonds of friendship that extend beyond mere healthcare provision. By entering the homes of our students and patiently listening to their personal stories and experiences, we have been granted the honour of praying with them and for them. This intimate setting has opened up remarkable opportunities to share with one another in a more personal and meaningful way, allowing for deeper spiritual connections and conversations.
A particularly moving testimony comes from a refugee family we have been visiting regularly over the past year and a half. Our journey with them has been transformative, encompassing not only discussions about physical health but also exploring matters of faith and spiritual well-being. The wife in this family expressed heartfelt gratitude for the miracles they’ve witnessed within their family unit. What began as a professional healthcare relationship has blossomed into a profound friendship, where we share in each other’s joys and sorrows, laughing and crying together. We have been humbled to witness miraculous acts of providence in their lives, reinforcing our belief in the power of faith and community support.
Looking ahead to 2025, our plans are ambitious yet focused on continuing and expanding our vital work. We aim to maintain and enhance our clinic services, ensuring that we can meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community. Additionally, we are committed to growing our community outreach efforts, with a particular emphasis on identifying and connecting with individuals who can help us establish deeper, more meaningful relationships within different communities.
These connections are crucial as they allow us to better understand and address the unique needs of each group we serve. Furthermore, we are earnestly praying for more dedicated workers to join the Wellness Center team. This expansion of our workforce is essential not only for meeting the increasing demand for our services but also for furthering our mission through our healthcare ministry. We believe that by combining professional healthcare with spiritual care, we can make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
