Sexual and Reproductive Health Workshops with FREHA 2024 Report

Building on our valued partnership with Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur Family Reproductive Health Association (FREHA), we have expanded the sexual and reproductive health workshops for the Indonesian and Burmese women in our community. These workshops provide essential education  on women’s reproductive health, rights, and awareness on cervical and breast cancer.

“It was very meaningful to share knowledge with other women on the three topics we discussed at our school the other day. Many Myanmar women lack essential knowledge about their health, which can lead them to try unproven remedies and face unnecessary issues. ElShaddai and FREHA collaborated to explain important topics like breast cancer and cervical cancer, which all women should be aware of. We gained a lot of insight and cleared up misunderstandings we previously had. All three sessions were taught clearly and effectively, so both the women attending, and the teachers felt they benefited greatly. We now have important information to share with other women around us. I would also like to recommend providing more health-related education.”
