Exciting Progress for E-Graduate

ElShaddai Centre’s E-Graduate programme is an online programme for refugees to learn skills that can help them secure stable jobs in the long term. In June of this year, we were proud to conduct our first graduation ceremony for 35 E-Graduate students. Through hard work and determination, they obtained diplomas in various fields such as Health and Social Care; Computing; Business Management; and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

This year, we have 59 students enrolled in our E-Graduate programmes. These students will be offered internship opportunities, and in some cases, future employment. Health and Social Care students may intern with Genesis Life Care Centre, D’Home and Mintygreen Wellness Residences Nursing Care. Air Conditioning students may intern at Life2Life Aircon Service and Wing Hing Aircon Engineering, with the 4th batch expected to start training in February 2023. Students studying teacher education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) can intern at ElShaddai Refugee Learning Centre (ERLC), and in the near future, at other refugee learning centres as well.
