In January 2023, after a class ended, a student wanted to invite me to provide physical therapy for his mother. His mother had been experiencing
knee pain, swelling, and severe discomfort in her daily life for several months due to a fall. She had visited the hospital, where doctors prescribed pain medication, and she had also seen a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner who applied herbal remedies to her knee. None of these treatments were effective. On February 4, I visited their home to assess his mother’s condition, provided appropriate advice and treatment, and promised to follow up on her progress. I scheduled monthly follow-ups and monitored her rehabilitation progress throughout the intervening time.
On June 30, the student informed me that they would be relocating to Canada on July 11 and requested one final treatment session for his mother. I visited their home for the last checkup. As I examined his mother, I couldn’t believe it myself. In fact, I was a bit anxious, having been away from the professionfor six years. I was worried that I might not providethe most appropriate treatment, but by God’smercy, the mother was healed, and her knee painhad disappeared entirely. When I told her that herprogress was very good, and she no longer neededa cane to walk, she was overjoyed and almost cried. She was so thrilled because her wish was to be ableto walk without a cane when she went to the thirdcountry. Now, her wish had come true. She keptthanking me because neither doctors nor traditionalChinese medicine had been able to heal her. Shehad wasted a lot of money on medical expenses. However, the treatment I provided relieved her ofthe torment of pain, and she could walk confidentlywithout a cane. Thank God, the mother of thisstudent has recovered. I keep emphasizing to herthat It is God who healed you. All glory belongs toGod.

Secondary School Camp!
Excel Learning Centre held a three-day, two-night Character Camp from May 29 to May 31 this year. We aimed to help campers explore and unleash their hidden talents while having a great time. I discovered the camp was an adventure filled with surprises!
We had 78 youth from 12 countries, each with uniquebbackgrounds and talents. They left us in awe with their infectious energy and willingness to step out of their comfort zones. The incredible team behind the scenes made all this possible.
On the first day of the camp, one of our camper’s right arm got dislocated during the obstacle course, causing severe pain, and I had to immobilize his hand. I found the dislocation was quite serious. I immediately helped him put on an arm sling for shoulder support and, with the assistance of a colleague, took him toa nearby hospital for treatment. Due to the urgency

of the hospital visit, we did not bring his refugee card with us. Without the refugee card to confirm hisrefugee status, he would not be eligible for a 50%medical discount.

Thanks to Rebecca, who had printed the student’s document the day before our departure, I had thecamper’s refugee card information on my phone. Therefore, the entire treatment only costs RM90.What was even more thankful is that the emergencyroom was not crowded that day, and the medicalstaff treated him quickly.
As he was being wheeled into the treatment room, I told him: “I will pray for you, and you should also pray, asking the Lord Jesus to heal you.” At that moment, Isaw tears in his eyes. The corrective surgery was verysuccessful. Later, I asked him if he was scared. Hesaid, “No, because I have peace, and I have the LordJesus.” Thank you, God.
