Cikgu Nur’s Story, as told by Teacher Dorothy

cikgu nur

25 October 2024, I accompanied Cikgu Nur to Hospital Queen Elizabeth 2 as she had a cardiac appointment (2nd follow-up session).

On the way we went to the hospital, I told her that, I prayed that this would be the last time she had a Cardiac appointment. She told me that she also prayed for this the night before.

After a discussion session with the doctor, he understood that Cikgu Nur is divorced and needs to take care of her baby, so he decided to do a bedside ECHO without any charges. Somehow, he considered the financial constraints and gave her the next appointment after 8 months.

The bedside ECHO result showed her heart function improved after taking the medications. Through my observation, I realised that the doctor who reviewed Cikgu Nur is a senior doctor because the other doctors came and sought advice from him when they had problems giving treatment or making decisions.

Cikgu Nur was so happy and shared with me that she felt so blessed because she met a doctor who is kind to her as she had prayed for. God has answered her prayers. She went back and shared with the others also.

Even though we prayed that she could be discharged from the Cardiology Clinic because of financial constraints, God prepared the best ways for her.
