Story from Sungai Buloh Sub-Centre 2024

Myat Soe’s Story

Myat Soe is a 12-year-old boy who has been living in Malaysia for over a year. He started attending ElShaddai Centre last year. Although he had begun Grade 4 Primary School back in his home country, he was quite weak in English when he first enrolled. Recognizing this challenge, the teacher provided him with extra lessons an hour before classes once a week. These sessions extended into the holidays, allowing him to build his skills consistently. As a result, Myat Soe can now read and speak English confidently and even write sentences in class. His teacher has observed significant changes and improvements in all his subjects.
