Jalan Pasar Learning Centre(JPLC) 2025

JPLC marks the beginning of ElShaddai Learning Centre’s engagement with the
Indonesian community from 2018. Since then, a significant number of students are of Indonesia origin. In 2025, we proudly promoted 61 students to ElShaddai primary
schools and sent 65 ofthem to JLPC KG2.

Student’s story:

“My name is Shomimah, and I am 9 years old. I would like to share about my preprimary journey. The name of my pre-primary is ElShaddai Jalan Pasar Learning Centre, and I’m from the class “Love.” I love my school so much!

In our school, we have many teachers and friends. Every day when I reach school, I say “Good morning” to my teachers, and it makes me happy. When it’s time to go home, I say “Goodbye, Teacher Naw Eh” and to the other teachers too.

I have lots of friends in our school from many different countries, like Rohingya, Burma, and Pakistan. We enjoy learning, playing, and telling stories together. In our school, we learn English, Mathematics, Science, Phonograms, and the Water Cycle. I enjoy learning all these subjects because they are very interesting. My favorite subjects are English and Mathematics.

Before leaving my learning centre, I tell my teachers that I can’t wait to come back tomorrow to learn and play even more. Pre-primary is the best, and I am so grateful I
got to be there!”
