Advance Vocational Education 2025

The ElShaddai Advance Vocational Education (EAVE) Program continues to play a transformative role in empowering marginalized and refugee youths with accessible, high-quality education that leads to real opportunities for advancement. In 2025, the program supported 63 learners across multiple academic and vocational pathways—from graduate studies to technical diplomas and certificate programs—creating meaningful impacting personal growth, employability, and long-term stability.

Graduate studies: Advancing professional capacity

Four students completed postgraduate qualifications, demonstrating exceptional commitment to furthering their careers. These achievements reflect the upward educational mobility that EAVE enables though resources are limited and the context challenging.

Technical and vocational education: Building employable skills

Level 3-5 Diploma in Computing and Information Technology, Diploma in Health & Social Care and Business Management continue to prepare and empower high school leavers with digital literacy, skills, entrepreneurship and knowledge required for the job market.

Level 4 Diploma in Teaching and Learning, along with on-the-job mentoring strengthens the pool of community teachers which made up 60% of our teaching force, directly contributing to the sustainability and quality of ElShaddai Education. Our heart-felt appreciation goes to all the trainers who have committed sacrificially to
equip the young teachers.

Foundational education and progression pathways
Level 2 Certificate in Progression (2nd Cohort): 10 students successfully completed foundational studies in English and Math designed to help them transition into higher level vocational programs. L2CiP is an online alternative for older students who are unable to complete high school for various reasons.

Technical skills – income generation and micro-enterprises

Air-Cond Service, Baking and Gemstone Craft Training continue to empower youth, women and girls including gender-based violence survivals to be self-reliant.

L3 Diploma in community support work – new Course in 2026

This course is designed to equip community workers with basic skills, knowledge and ethics to serve refugee and other marginalized communities effectively.

Lastly, a big thank you to our donors, partners, trainers, coordinators and administrators for making EAVE possible and sustainable. And congratulations to all the graduates for your commitment to equip yourself to be better contributors to your communities.
