For refugees adapting to life in a new country like Malaysia, language plays a vital role in building connections, forming relationships, and integrating into society. To support this, we offer online adult English classes. These classes cater to different proficiency levels and focus on practical conversational skills rather than academic learning. In 2024, approximately 25 adults, both men and women, joined the program, taking an important step toward integration and empowerment.

ElShaddai Refugee Learning Centre in Klang, Malaysia, received the most votes out of nearly 9,000 cast in our 2020 Hope Awards for Effective Compassion contest. El Shaddai will receive $10,000. Our other finalists—The Dream Center
