SAFETY AND PROTECTION- Community-Based Protection Team (CBP)

While having only a small team of 5 to do case management on the ground, we also engage and train community mobilisers to work with us in protecting the community and responding to any safety and protection case. These community mobilisers are equipped with simple case management training, basic counselling training, mental health-related knowledge, child protection training and coaching.

They play a very crucial role as the first liners in identifying any potential high-risk cases, rescue and respond. After the ElShaddai Centre case management team provided the necessary intervention, the CBP team continued to help monitor and follow up with the previous cases to ensure smooth reintegration and sustainability back to their families and community.
