496 Visitors and Partners

ElShaddai Centre Partner Engagement had a robust 2024! From January to December, we received a total of **496 visitors and partners** who came to explore, visit and volunteer. The most exciting months were June and July with 22 teams visiting us

A partner donated his house in Petaling Jaya for us to use. He also personally expended both his time, money and energy for the upkeep and comfort of the house for our use. We are thankful for his dedication and invaluable gifts, without which, the Partner Engagement team would have fallen behind.

Another house that was donated for our use boasts of 7 rooms and 5 bathrooms. Contributions from a team in Singapore and a local volunteer enabled us to purchase new beds and mattresses and upgrade three toilets. We are so grateful for this partnership with the owner for the use of his family home for our guests.

Our anchor at Shalom, Charlene, had her personal breakthrough. She now handles the cleaning and set up of all three lodgings with gusto, serving with a couple from the community.

The 2024 Partner Engagement’s Most Valuable Person (MVP) is Lea Gloria. Lea took over the role of hosting coordination this year. Conquering a steep learning curve, she aced her new role, navigating through constant changes, and innumerable requests from guests and managing the hosting partners smoothly.

The truth is, when 2024 started, we had a weak team. God has been so faithful. In the midst of our lack, He gives us the wisdom and tenacity to pull through each event, each group, often one day at a time. 2024 ElShaddai Centre Partner Engagement has been a good run. We have grown individually and as a team. God has truly been good to us.
