In 2025, the wellness program became further integrated into our learning centres. Throughout PRIME (Year 1–5), specific workshops, lessons, and activities were added to the Character Building programme to support the holistic development of our students. These sessions focused on students’ overall well-being, beyond academic
performance and helped strengthen their emotional literacy.
Understanding and expressing emotions in healthy ways is essential for building positive relationships and effective communication. In PRIME 1 and 2, activities centred on developing emotional vocabulary, enabling students to recognise, understand, and express their emotions. This foundation helped strengthen both communication skills and emotional well-being.
Older students focused on emotional regulation and learned practical strategies to manage their emotions effectively. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and games, they explored common triggers and supportive techniques to respond to
challenging feelings.
Adopting a shared language for emotional well-being across the school has enhanced communication, while viewing our students more holistically has deepened teacher–student relationships and strengthened our overall sense of community.
