Unwavering Courage under Siege

During these two months, it is very challenging for the local community teachers as they are facing much difficulties. They have been reminded by the local authority that they must move out from the place where they stay as the land owner want to develop that land.

Despite the provocation and ultimatum, they still show concern and care for the students who are doing nothing but just walking around. So, in the interim, they set up a very simple classroom and start to teach them the best they can.

They were only given a month’s notices to move out. Many families started to dismantle their houses and many men-of-the-houses didn’t go to work but have been helping their families to move to nearby places or even somewhere farther. Still, they are a few families who want to stay back to look after their houses’ building material.
