Celebrating Achievement: Andrew Ng ILEA Awards Finalist

Andrew Ng, the founder of ElShaddai Centre and Life2Life, has been named one of the three finalists for the Societal Leaders category at the Iclif Leadership Energy Awards (ILEA Awards) at the Leadership for Enterprise Sustainability Asia 2023 conference, organized by the Asia School of Business.

The ILEA Awards recognize and celebrate exceptional leadership in sustainability, innovation, and societal impact. The Societal Leaders category explicitly honours individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in addressing social and environmental challenges in their communities and beyond.

Andrew Ng is a well-known figure in social entrepreneurship and sustainable development. He founded ElShaddai Centre in 2008, a non-governmental organization that provides education, healthcare, and shelter to refugees, stateless and diaspora marginalized communities in Malaysia. The organization has since expanded to other parts of Malaysia.

Under Andrew’s leadership, ElShaddai Centre has become a significant force for positive change in Malaysia. The organization has helped thousands of refugees, stateless and diaspora marginalized people access education and healthcare, and has provided them with safe and secure housing. The ILEA Awards nomination is a recognition of Andrew’s exceptional leadership and his commitment to building a more sustainable and equitable world. His work at ElShaddai Centre and Life2Life has made a real and lasting impact on the lives of thousands of people, and his dedication to social entrepreneurship and sustainable development is an inspiration to us all.
